Re: The Young Ones and Bottom. Completely agreed. They should have had an honourable mention at least. The University Challenge episode is a masterpiece, and I think my favourite episode of Bottom is a toss up between the one where they tape a burglar to the ceiling (at least, I think that's what happened - I need to see it again, but I just remember crying with laughter), and the Christmas special ("Gold, Frankenstein, and Grr..").

The early years of The Simpsons were amazing, I quite agree. I have a particular love for the Who Shot Mr Burns two-part story.
