Recommendations? A difficult question. "Feel-good" is inherently relative. A lot of horror films make me "feel good" in a masochistic kind of way. I also love romantic tragedies like Brief Encounter and The English Patient for similar reasons, as well dramas such as Dead Poets Society, which has also been called "feel good" even though it essentially ends in tragedy.
All that said, here's are three films that have been called "feel-good" at various times, all of which I think are terrific:
