Regarding the scene in The Goonies, in all fairness, that moment was somewhat censored by the BBFC to get it to a PG certificate during the original 1985 release. The deleted footage was only reinstated when it got a DVD release sometime in the early 2000s. So you can't be blamed for misremembering.
