Thank you. Responding to each of these:

Taxi Driver for Rocky - Agreed.

Raging Bull for Ordinary People - Agreed.

GoodFellas for Dances With Wolves - An agonising one because I love both for completely different reasons. My head says Goodfellas, my heart says Dances with Wolves.

The Awful Truth for Life Of Emile Zola -Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for me (per the article).

The Wizard of Oz for Gone With the Wind - Another agonising one. It depends on my mood (and whether I've got a spare four hours for Gone with the Wind) but I love both and both are iconic.

The Magnificent Ambersons for Mrs. Miniver - No, I'd stick with Mrs Miniver out of those two (of course, I've never seen Welles's legendary original cut, but that's another discussion).

Moulin Rouge for The Greatest Show on Earth - No, High Noon or Singin' in the Rain for me.

Funny Girl for Oilver! - 2001: A Space Odyssey for me (per the article).

Nashville for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Both great though I'd have gone for Jaws myself.

An Unmarried Woman for The Deer Hunter - Definitely an improvement on The Deer Hunter, but I'd have gone for Midnight Express.

Raiders of the Lost Ark for Chariots of Fire - Agreed.

The Right Stuff for Terms of Endearment - Agreed.

JFK for Silence of the Lambs - Agreed. Or Beauty and the Beast.

Quiz Show for Forrest Gump - Or Pulp Fiction or The Shawshank Redemption.

Apollo 13 for Braveheart - Or Babe. Or The Usual Suspects. Or Se7en. Or Heat. Really hard to choose that year.

Saving Private Ryan for Shakespeare in Love - The Truman Show for me, per the article.

Munich for Crash - Definitely a better choice. I might be tempted to go for Batman Begins.

Toy Story 3 for The King's Speech - Inception for me.

Zero Dark Thirty for Argo - Yes, I'd probably go along with that.

Boyhood for Birdman - The Babadook for me.

Mad Max Fury Road for Spotlight - Inside Out for me.

Dunkirk for The Shape of Water - Agreed.

Black Panther for Green Book - A Star is Born for me.
