Revival Centres International? The name rings a bell. I think I've heard of them. My parents were in a horrible cult for the first seven years of my life, but whilst there my father still insisted on a Christmas tree, despite being presented with these kinds of nonsensical arguments. He was given a hard time for that every year by other cult members, but he stood his ground.

Even after the cult, this idiotic idea reared its ugly head in the evangelical circles I was in on a regular basis. I've even had an argument relatively recently with some legalistic twit who tried to convince me to stop celebrating Christmas. I just felt sorry for them, to be honest.
