Robin of Sherwood blends the Robin Hood story with Arthurian mysticism. Red Dwarf is a hilarious sci-fi comedy, though it looses steam around series 5. Yes Minister is a political sitcom (and equally brilliant in subsequent series, Yes Prime Minister), and The Day Today is groundbreaking political/media satire - cult viewing at the time, but hugely influential, and these days often indistinguishable from Fox News.
