Perhaps I'm living in a bubble, but I've not personally experienced any unhappiness connected to being a man. Like you, I read about collective male misery elsewhere (particularly in America), but I don't see it in any of the men I know either. It slightly baffles me. Don't get me wrong - everyone has problems and challenges, but among the men I know, none of these are directly related to their sex, as far as I can tell.

Still, a very interesting article with some good food for thought.
