Several points on all this:

1) It's always the bloody hedge fund managers, isn't it? This news has done nothing but cement my prejudice against these greedy parasitical pimples in the cleft of Satan's buttocks.

2) As I understand it, this doesn't affect the whole of Dartmoor in any case - or am I wrong about that? Either way, I will be conforming completely with this law and not transgress it in any way. I am a model of civil obedience, kowtowing to all regulations no matter how unreasonable or ridiculous. And no, my nose isn't growing at all...

3) Depressing though this is, it is far from the final word. I think this ruling will be overturned. What's more, this is yet another reason why it's high time we got rid of the Conservative party. They need a season in opposition for a good while. (Political parties and indeed politicians are like nappies: An unfortunate necessity that require regular changing, or else they stink.)
