Since we dwell in southwest England and refuse to travel anywhere at Christmas (relatives are always welcome to visit, but never do, as they are scattered across opposite ends of the UK and further afield in places like Germany), Christmas celebrations in Fortress Dillon have been entirely agreeable since 2001. I did go for a walk though, late on Christmas Day afternoon (alone - everyone else did other things, and we're a family of introverts, so that isn't uncommon). It didn't rain, and was pleasant on the whole. :)
