Skyfall is definitely the superior film. However, Spectre had a pretty damn good opening in Mexico, and I loved the sinister, occult tinged meeting of SPECTRE (the exteriors are Blenheim Palace, even though it is supposed to be somewhere in Rome, I think). But overall, yes, it is fairly routine Bond. However, I'll take it any day of the week (and twice on Sundays) over No Time to Die.
