So from this I've learned you like to watch, but you're honest. You're also an egomaniac like me (all writers need to be to an extent, though tempering egomania with self-deprecating humour and self-awareness renders one less insufferable, in my opinion).
Also, I sort-of see your point about the film of The Woman in Black. Daniel Radcliffe was woefully miscast (too young) and the film alters the original (brilliant) novel a great deal. I didn't think it was terrible though.
