So glad you managed to catch the original Star Wars trilogy at that age during the 1997 re-release, and that The Empire Strikes Back wasn’t spoiled for you. I went to those re-releases too, multiple times. But I also remember the original releases (I was eight when Return of the Jedi came out, and I’m telling you, the excitement in the school playground was off the charts). :)
