A great piece on a cult classic. So many great quotes in this film. "I want something's flesh!"

By the way, I first saw Withnail and I at a rerelease in the Harbour Lights cinema Southampton, whilst I was a student, sometime in the mid 1990s. Before the screening, Mark Kermode (who I knew a little at the time - his wife Linda Ruth Williams ran the English department at the University, and I'd interviewed him for a documentary I made on film censorship) interviewed Ralph Brown (the actor who played Danny) and did a Q&A. It was a great evening, and most important of all, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the film.
