Some great artists celebrated here. I remain a huge fan of Donna Summer (especially I Feel Love and even some of her later work with Stock, Aiken, and Waterman - This Time I Know It's For Real, for insance). Speaking of I Feel Love, that track is particularly influential. Listen to Pet Shop Boys 1990 top ten hit So Hard (a good track in its own right) and tell me that synthesiser sound isn't directly ripped out of I Feel Love.

Whitney Houston is obviously a legend, but I most like her 1980s tracks. I'm also glad you've mentioned Technotronic, C&C Music Factory, CeCe Peniston, etc. All cracking stuff that takes me back to my teenage years. :)
