Some great examples here. The Bible is full of bonkers stories. Judges is particularly gruesome. Then there are bizarro prophecies like Ezekiel 38 and 39 (which seems to anticipate nuclear weapons and radioactive contamination/fallout). Or the random streaker in the Garden of Gethsemane in Mark’s gospel.
