Some hugely important points here.

My policy:

1) Respond to all positive comments.

2) Respond to negative comments only if certain the commenter in question is a real person. For instance, I've had some robust discussion with you in that past concerning subjects on which we have disagreed, but because it was actual debate and not silly name-calling, I doubt any of what we said would trigger bot alerts.

3) If someone you are in debate with online does degenerate into name-calling or suchlike, ignore them.
