Some valid thoughts.

My personal take on this series (as a lifelong Doctor Who fan, growing up watching Peter Davison on TV broadcasts, and Tom Baker/Jon Pertwee repeats or VHS tapes):

Space Babies - Rubbish.

The Devil's Chord - Almost as bad.

Boom - Better.

73 Yards - Brilliant.

Dot and Bubble - Not bad, but a slightly fudged ending.

Rogue - Good fun.

The Legend of Ruby Sunday - Solid, with a great Sutekh reveal.

Empire of Death - The Sutekh stuff is fine. But the Doctor needs to stop crying. It's becoming numbing. Occasionally is fine, but otherwise it loses dramatic value. Too drawn out and sentimental once Sutekh is out of the picture too.
