Sometimes it can be hard tracking the original source. I recently had the devil of a time trying to locate an interview with Brigitte Helm when she talked about how her dress caught fire and she almost burned when filming the burning at the stake sequence in Metropolis. It is an interview cited in so many different places, but I simply couldn't find the name of the original German newspaper in which it appeared. Infuriating.
