Sometimes, the BBC announcer on television gives a warning like this:

"The following programme contains sex, violence, bad language, and scenes of a disturbing nature, from the very start."

With a full-bingo card of potentially offensive content (the "from the very start" bit being particularly inviting), I rub my hands together with glee. I too am anti-censorship, fascinated by dark, transgressive material, and would rather be offended than bored.
