Thank you. You're right. Aliens is the end of the story as far as I'm concerned. Nothing more was needed.

I didn't care for Covenant any more than the other post-Aliens sequels (and the idea that people would see this film before Alien depresses me). Visually nice, yes, but same-old same-old, with characters I couldn't care less about. Not even a two-for-the-price-of-one Michael Fassbender could salvage it.

I'll give you points for mental gymnastics for placing Alien 3 in a parallel universe, but I still don't care for it for all the reasons I gave in the article linked to in this article (if you follow me).

As for Romulus, who knows? I'll see it this weekend and have a review in Simon Dillon Cinema (where all my new release cinema reviews go) no later than Monday. :)
