Thank you. Some great points here about the Brando/Reeve material potentially being shot earlier. That makes sense. I agree that had they been left to their own devices, Donner et al would have delivered and then some (I think they'd have spotted some of the problems from the first half I mentioned and rescripted/reshot accordingly). :)
