Thank you for that brilliant anecdote. Mr Sherry sounds wonderful. I agree great teachers are few and far between. The best ones these days are often forced out of schools by the lunatic restrictions imposed on them by an insane, exam-obsessed system that is more concerned with running a school like a bureaucratic for-profit corporation than a place where children can learn. But that's a huge topic for another time, suffice it to say I think education systems to be torn up by the roots and completely overhauled.
