Thank you so much, Amy. My biggest worry with this novel was that I'd somehow make it too depressing, instead of being a gripping thriller. Thankfully, you (and others) are setting my mind at ease on that point.

And yes - I completely relate to you waking up in the middle of the night, worried about your son. It is every parent's burden in one sense, but is definitely complicated when faced with some of the challenges you have to deal with.
