To give some perspective, I agree with your sentiments on life being too short. However, in my specific case, I tolerate bad films mainly because 1) writing about them earns me money, and 2) as a novelist, the study of storytelling is a lifelong pursuit. That includes bad storytelling. Looking at why something doesn't work is just as instructive, if not more instructive, than something that does.

But for most people - yes, watching this would be a total waste of time. :)
