That sounds excruciating. On a similar note, recently, about ten minutes into my morning running route (which typically lasts 20 minutes), I had sudden, unexpected stomach cramps and an urgent need to expel whatever it was I’d eaten that disagreed with me the previous evening. The rest of the journey consisted of me trying not to run too fast, lest it provoke a breaking of the dam, so to speak, whilst also trying to run as fast as I dared, knowing that my clenching efforts would not last forever. Thankfully, I just made it. I imagine my relief was akin to yours.
