That's a strange and potentially dangerous law that's wide open to abuses that probably weren't intended. We had a narrow shave in the UK in the 2000s when Tony Blair's government tried to bring in a "religious hatred" bill that would have had all kinds of horrible side effects because it was so poorly worded. Loads of lobbying groups campaigned together - including both religious groups and secular humanists working together - to get it thrown out. In the end, it was defeated by one vote.
