That's entirely fair - it is certainly anglocentric, and I fully acknowledge there is bound to be a certain bias in that respect. And obviously, this isn't meant to be a definitive history of cinema either, so please absolutely do add other suggestions here, because they will be of value to anyone reading (including me, to fill in gaps in my knowledge - I still have plenty). :)
