That’s fantastic. I’m really excited for you and wish you all the best. In fact, please keep me posted on how it goes. :) I liked Jennifer Kent’s second film The Nightingale a lot too, although it was a tough watch.
I brushed shoulders with the late, great Ken Russell during my student days(between 1993 and 1996), as he taught one of our semesters in our final year. He critiqued my dissertation film (a silly vampire short, which he saw in rough cut and — to my astonishment — rather liked) and a short time travel screenplay. Plus he told me loads of hilarious anecdotes. A real eccentric, and I warmed to him a great deal.
