That's one of my favourite novels, and the 1940 Hitchcock adaptation is one of my favourite films (I was far less impressed with the tepid, miscast Ben Wheatley version that came out last year).

Also, Rebecca has been a major influence on my own gothic mystery novels, especially The Birds Began to Sing.
