The biggest irritation I had with the special edition tweaks of the original trilogy wasn't with Greedo but was with the adding of "Nooo!" to Vader's previously silent sacrifice in Return of the Jedi. Absolutely unforgivable. Mercifully, I still have a couple of DVD versions without that tweak, as well as the DVD of the non-special edition version. But the Blu Ray has the "Nooo!" alas.
