The ease with which older films can be re-screened is the only significant benefit of digital over 35mm/70mm, to my mind (I still prefer celluloid to digital, and lament that loss, but that’s another discussion). So yes, I absolutely agree. And The Maltese Falcon is another film I’ve seen in the cinema by the way (prior to this current re-release). Thank you for reading and commenting. :)
