The first film that ever did this for me was Angel Heart, when I first watched that late one night on a VHS tape in 1992 (I was 17 at the time). Afterwards, I had to walk home from my friend's house through about fifteen minutes worth of dark alleys at about 2am. That just added to the experience. Hahahahaha!
