The first time we watched this, my wife and I made the mistake of watching one episode with a couple we know. The man was one of my TV colleagues. His wife, for some reason, struggled to follow the narrative, asked several incessant questions, and at one point, when a soldier had his limb blown off, stated: "That's fake, right?"
