The idea of a sequel to E.T. makes me go all hot and cold. Thankfully Spielberg has ruled it out. He also has something in his contract stating no remake can ever be made in his lifetime. Robert Zemeckis has something similar in his contract concerning Back to the Future. I'm now praying they both live forever.
