The life of Kyle Rogers (after the disappearance of Jason up to the point when he meets Nick again in Oxford) would actually make an interesting, albeit sordid, spin-off novel in its own right. I have a ton of notes on what he got up to, most of which is merely hinted at in the novel. :)
