The pitting of "science" versus "faith" may make for good drama, but I confess as a Christian I find it a constant irritation, as to my mind, there is no fundamental opposition between the two (a big discussion for another time). One noble exception: The Exorcism of Emily Rose, in which the Christian character prosecuting the case is also a believer in science. That's a flawed film, but I was pleased it made the effort to overcome that simplistic trope (then again the director, Scott Derrickson, is a Christian, so perhaps he was just as irritated with this cliche as I am). :)
