The speech about men being wasted, etc (which I quoted) is resonant with many. But really, one would have thought that speech ought to apply across Black America as well as white, a lot more than this film indicates. Hence my criticism.

I'm glad Fight Club is your favourite film. It certainly isn't mine, but I still think it's a very good piece of work. :)
