The thing that angers me about this (superbly written) piece is that supposed medical professionals treated you this way. Regardless of one's position/beliefs on abortion, there is absolutely no excuse for the kinds of inhumane treatment and violating actions you describe here. It shouldn't even enter the equation, whether voluntary D&C or not.
