There could be some truth to this. Some modern worship songs are a bit on the Jesus-is-my-boyfriend side. I'd rather belt out an old hymn like Thine Be the Glory, but I like some modern worship stuff too. However, I have to be in a church sufficiently loud to drown out my own voice (I'm not a great singer). :)
