There is no doubt the internet has given rise to a particularly odious and cowardly brand of commenter akin to those persons who drive like lunatics and piss off other road users, knowing they can't be punched in the face for it whilst ignoring the fact that they could crash their vehicles and die.

Also, I'm curious to know the identity of the individual who provoked this excellent tirade.
