This above all is why I don't rely on them. I sometimes run material through Grammarly, and it can prove handy for things like where I've missed a word, but spelling and grammar are already hard-wired into me. I ignore about ninety percent of Grammarly's suggestions (mainly an insistence I use US English and delete deliberate stylistic decisions).
