Rainwater harvesting is one of my best memories as a kid. You could see the entire barrio running to place the water tanks, buckets, and anything else that they could find on their patios, in front of their houses, and on their roofs. There was no shortage of kids volunteering to get drenched, harvest as much water as possible, and even take showers while you were at it. I sure did take advantage, and my hair never looked better.
