This could work as a TV drama, agreed. Or better still, a 90 minute feature (though I have additional material I'd reinstate and some things I'd change/adapt if this were a screenplay). I cut a huge chunk in the latter stages - about three thousand words, featuring three extra characters and an additional subplot - that I'd probably work back into a film version.
