This film is almost as good as Seven Samurai. The only thing that doesn't quite work as well is the motivation for these gunslingers helping the villagers. In Seven Samurai, it is all about honour, but culturally that doesn't quite translate to the Old West in the same way. That said, the film is still a classic and one of my favourites.
