This is a truly horrifying prospect. If that ever happens, we're all royally screwed.

Some "prepping" suggestions for such a scenario:

1) Buy plenty of old-school DVD and Blu-Ray players that will play the disks. None of my players are connected to the internet, and I've not allowed any firmware updates.

2) Buy plenty of record players and CD players for the same reason (I don't download music either - hard copies only).

3) If all else fails, the one thing they absolutely cannot tamper with are your books.

I can't comment on computer games, as I'm not really a computer game person.
