This is absolutely spot-on.

That line hit a lot of bases for me. Only a fool or an adolescent presumes that a movie with few women characters treats them with condescension, or presumes that all sex scenes are automatically gratuitous, or presumes that a feminist would be uninterested in the movie Oppenheimer. I doubted I would like it, but I remained open minded. And as it turns out, I was wrong.

This is absolutely spot-on. It is also why I, as a cineaste, insist that a film cannot be judged unless it has been watched from beginning to end. :)
