This is absurd. You can't twist anyone's arm into believing the Gospel. Christians are supposed to be ambassadors of Jesus Christ, delivering the message of the Gospel, but moving on if people aren't interested. The New Testament makes that very clear.

When it comes to "deconstruction", again, you can't force someone into sharing your beliefs. On a personal note, I did "deconstruct" a lot of my evangelical past, but this process affirmed my faith more than ever. At one point, I felt God speak to me very clearly to deconstruct as much as I pleased, as long as I didn't deconstruct the cross. I do wish Christians would focus more on the essentials that they agree on, and less on the lesser issues, if you follow me.
