This is an excellent piece. You are far more qualified to comment on the historical veracity than I am, and the separation of fact from fiction is both appreciated and instructive.

I enjoyed the film a great deal when I saw it. Two old men pontificating over matters of faith? I'm in. I was also amused at the way they bonded over football. Two great performances as well, but now I need to see it again with this article in mind.
