This is an interesting read. I did find turning 40 vaguely disquieting (back in 2015) but now I'm quite happy being considered an old bastard. Also, I don't remember this film well enough. I've only watched it once (at the cinema) and now I need to see it again. I'm going to dig out my old review to see what I thought. It's a spin-off from Knocked Up, right? I seem to remember a scene where you think he's cheating but he's actually playing Spider-Man games with his male friends, or something like that. And she gets all tearful and says "I like Spider-Man". Or was that from Knocked Up? Am I confusing the two? I've not seen Knocked Up for a while either (I remember liking that one a lot more).
