This is what annoys me too. There is a hierarchy to the people I read. Certain people - whose writing is consistently excellent and enjoyed most - come first. But Medium's "Following" page does not take that into consideration. Nor does it remove articles I've already read but puts them up again and again, bludgeoning me with demands for a second read.

My time is limited and valuable, and I resent having to constantly dig around to find what I'm looking for on this site. It wasn't broken, so why did it need fixing?
